Welcome to gabriel's entertainment
purpose
Gabriel's Entertainment was established in April 2015, it's purpose is to provide financial assistance through scholarships. We have since helped to continue the educational legacy of Taylor A. Lewis M.D. (Taylor A. Lewis M.D. and Cleveland Hurst III Endowed Scholarship) by providing financial assistance to students attending Wayne State University in Detroit, MI.
Gabriel's Entertainment has also assisted the late Al McKenzie Interlochen Scholarships and The Angel House Center for domestic Violence in Redford, MI.
The scholarships are funded by the Unforgettable Jazz Concert Series which has featured International Jazz Saxophonist Yancyy and Special Guests such as: L. Renee, Penny Wells, Beth Griffith- Manley, David. P. Stevens, Paul Dozier, LaShawn Gary, Gwen Foxx, Annisa Lea, John Lawerence and Lori Pinson.

History
Dr. Taylor A. Lewis and Cleveland Hurst III served on the WSU Alumni Association Board of Directors and Executive Committee, and Dr. Lewis also served as Alumni Association president. He established the Taylor A. Lewis, M.D., and Cleveland Hurst III Endowed Scholarship in 2011 to recognize scholastic achievement, encourage continued progress and help students finance their education at Wayne State University.
Current full- or part-time undergraduate students are eligible to apply for this scholarship, which provides $1,000 of financial assistance to those who delayed attending college after high school graduation, or students returning to Wayne State after an extended absence to complete their degree. Awards may be used for Wayne State tuition and educational expenses.
Applications are accepted once per year and are reviewed and awarded by the WSU Alumni Association Scholarship Committee.
Submissions for the Taylor A. Lewis, M.D., and Cleveland Hurst III Endowed Scholarship close on March 1 each year.
